Day of Jerusalem Old City: Holy City to the Three Religions

  • View the Old City from the Haas Promenade.
  • Visit Mount Zion sites: King David’s Tomb and The Upper Chamber (last supper room).
  • Enter the Old City from Zion’s Gate and walk through the Armenian Quarter.
  • Explore the ancient Cardo Road in the Jewish Quarter and the Madaba map replica, moving on to visit the Davidson center and the Southern Excavations or the Western Wall Tunnels.
  • Reconnect with 2000 years of history at the Western Wall.
  • Walk the Via Dolorosa Stations of the Cross in the Christian Quarter and visit the church of the Holy Sepulcher.
  • End the day walking through the colorful Arab Bazaar.
  • Leave the city via Jaffa Gate.

Day of Jerusalem New City

  • Visit the Yad Vashem Holocaust memorial site on Mount Herzel.
  • See the Second Temple Time model in the Israel Museum and glimpse the Dead Sea Scrolls in the Shrine of the Book.
  • Enjoy a panoramic tour of Jerusalem.
  • Stroll through the colorful Mahane Yehuda food market.

Day of the Coastal Planes

  • Explore the ruins of the ancient city of Caesarea.
  • Tour Rothschild’s tomb gardens in Zichron Yaakov OR visit the crusader halls in Acre.
  • Drive up to see the beautiful Persian Baha’i gardens in Haifa.
  • Voyage down into the sea grottos in Rosh HaNikra.

Day of Tel Aviv and Jaffa

  • Discover the pre-state underground bullet factory at the Ayalon institute in Rehovot.
  • Tour around the old city of Jaffa.
  • Enjoy walking through Neve Zedek – the first neighborhood of Tel Aviv.
  • Stroll on Rothschild Boulevard and visit the Hall of Independence where the State of Israel was declared.
  •  Take a journey through Israeli history at the Palmach museum.
  • End the day at the new port of Tel Aviv.

Day of the Upper Galilee

  • Drive along the Israel-Lebanese border and catch a glimpse into Lebanon from a Kibbutz along the border.
  • Visit a synagogue and walk through the beautiful galleries of the old Kabbalistic town of Tsfat (Safed).
  • Raft on the Jordan River (in season).

Day of the Golan Heights

  • Hike up to the mighty crusader-style Nimrod fort overlooking the Hula Valley.
  • Climb up to the Ben-Tal volcano that overviews into Syria.
  • Drive off-road vehicles along the border, or take a Jeep ride across the creeks of the Golan.
  • Take some time out at a boutique winery.

Day of Lower Galilee – Christian Option.

  • Climb to Nazareth to visit the Church of the Annunciation.
  • Journey to Mount Tabor where Jesus’s transfiguration took place.
  • Outing to the ancient boat museum in Gennesaret.
  • View onto the Sea of Galilee from Mount of Beatitudes where the Sermon on the Mount took place.
  • Explore the ancient ruins of Capernaum on the shore of the Sea of Galilee.
  • Enjoy the view from the roof of the Carmelite Monastery on the Carmel Mountain.
  • Visit the site of “Armageddon” at Tel Megiddo.

Day of the Dead Sea

  • Journey on foot through the Ein Gedi oasis nature reserve to see the wild life and enjoy the waterfalls.
  • Explore the fort of Massada and listen to its dramatic story.
  • Float in the Dead Sea and enjoy some relaxing SPA time at a resort.
